Safe system workshops - Towards Zero: what does it mean for Local Governments?
As part of the Local Government Safe System Project, Local Governments will have the opportunity to participate in road safety workshops during 2010.
These workshops will assist in identifying the barriers and enablers for Local Government to embed safe system principles into policy and practice. The workshops are available for any interested Local Government officers or Elected Members to participate.
The workshop will include:
- An overview of the safe system approach to road safety
- The Towards Zero vision
- An overview of the safe system approach to road safety
- The role of Local Government in road safety
