RoadWise together with the Town of Victoria Park and City of South Perth will be targeting Curtin students at a number of events in the first weeks of the University year. These events will include an expo for new overseas students, a lecture directed to overseas students and University Orientation day. Displays at the overseas students expo and orientation day will focus on the issue of speeding. They will focus on the role of speed in crashes and reducing travel speeds. The lecture for the overseas students will cover information relating to road rules, how to obtain a West Australian Driver’s Licence, driving on an international licence, insurance issues relating to hire cars, fatigue, trip planning , drag racing, illegal modification of vehicles.
