Meeting Dates

The Committee meets on the second Thursday of every month.

Committee Membership

• Shire of Waroona Councillors
• Representatives from the WA Police, Main Roads WA, Alcoa, School Drug Education and Road Aware, WALGA RoadWise Program, seniors groups, Lake Clifton Progress Association and the Waroona community.

Projects/Issues

• Promotion of the State campaigns of drink driving, speed, fatigue and restraints through local events including the Driver Reviver, Blessing of the Roads and the White Ribbons for Road Safety Campaign.
• Actively involved in advocacy of reducing speed limits and introducing traffic calming around the Shire to also benefit pedestrian, cyclist and gopher users.
• Has a share in a dpeed display trailer which is used throughout the year at various sites.
