RoadWise is a permanent agenda item on the Shire of Collie Community Safety and Crime Prevention Committee.

Shire of Collie Councillors and Community Development Officer, WA Police, RoadWise, Safety House Program and members of the Collie community. 

Projects/Issues

• Working with PCYC and High School Auto Workshop Program to incorporate road safety messages and activities within projects.
• Promotion of the major contributing factors to road crashes in WA (drink driving, speeding, non use of seatbelts and restraints and fatigue) at events throughout the year including Blessing of the Roads, White Ribbons and the Collie Show.
• Promotion of road safety messages through the local print media and community radio.
• Use of speed display trailer within the Shire.
• Advocacy for road and road side improvements to Main Roads WA and the Shire.
