Shire of Plantagenet RoadWise Steering Committee

Membership of the Committee includes representatives from the Shire of Plantagenet (elected members and staff), Mt Barker Police, Mt Barker Community College (staff and P&C), Main Roads WA, Department of Transport, WALGA’s RoadWise Program and community members.

Projects and issues

• Speed display trailer - The Shire received a Community Road Safety Grant to purchase a speed trailer which will be incorporated into local road safety events and initiatives in the future.
• 2010 Road Safety Forum - The Shire of Plantagenet presented a paper entitled Advocating for lower speed limits in the Shire of Plantagenet.
