The RoadWise Committee meets every two months on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Projects/Issues

• Safety around schools
• School communities have concerns about road safety issues at the five primary schools in the Shire. The issue is a significant focus of the committee.
• Road Safety Forum
• The committee is in planning stages for launching a Road Safety Forum for year 12 students attending the Serpentine-Jarrahdale Grammar School.
• Speed limit reductions
• Speeding vehicles around the horse training area is a concern for the committee.
• The committee is working with Main Roads WA to reduce the speed limit along Thomas Road from 90km/h to 70km/hr.
