One of the Town's priorities is to reduce speeding and travel speeds within the local community through education campaigns, the use of a speed display trailer, targeted enforcement and improved public infrastructure.

Constable Care Safety Foundation
For several years, the Town has worked in partnership with the Constable Care Safety Foundation to conduct presentations in local schools emphasising bike safety and steps to crossing the road safely.

Cycling Safety
The Town recently held cycle safety lessons by AustCycle accredited coaches which are a part of Cycle Australia’s "Be Active Cycle instead Bike Skills Program". Cyclists also had the opportunity to have their say on the Town’s Local Bicycle Plan which was on display at the Memorial Park on the day.
