Coffee Stop is a free service to the Western Australian community by participating roadhouses that has been operating since 1993. Aimed at reducing fatigue related crashes, participating roadhouses provide free coffee to drivers at the roadhouses’ cost. Participating roadhouses can be identified by signs placed at either side of the roadhouse.

There are currently 42 coffee stop locations throughout the State.

If your service station or roadhouse would be interested in participating in the Coffee Stop program, please contact the RoadWise Program on 9213 2066 or email roadwise@walga.asn.au to obtain a copy of the Coffee Stop program guidelines and a Memorandum of Agreement.

Coffee Stop resources

Participating Coffee Stop locations can order resources including posters and window stickers to help promote the fatigue message and your participation in the program. A sample of the materials is provided below, along with a downloadable copy of the documents. Please contact the RoadWise Program on 9213 2066 or email roadwise@walga.asn.au to obtain copies of the promotional materials.

Fatigue related community education materials such as posters and brochures can also be made available to Coffee Stop program participants.
