Bin Stickers
Speeding drivers have been identified as a main contributing factor in road related deaths and serious injury in Western Australia. The Road Safety Council of Western Australia is committed to reducing the speed of vehicles on our roads and continues to conduct regular community education campaigns targeting speed.
Road safety measures such as the 50km speed limit on local roads have also been introduced to assist in the reduction of speeds in our local neighbourhoods. There are also other road safety initiatives that can be implemented to encourage drivers to slow down and to make our local roads safer.
This project is an initiative everyone can participate in to save lives on our roads. It involves attaching a sticker to household council bins, which displays the message – “Please Slow Down Consider Our Kids”.
To obtain a sticker for your bin contact your Local Government.
