Rail Crossing Safety

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has released a safety bulletin which raises awareness about the factors which have contributed to recent rail level crossing accidents.

The bulletin can be downloaded by visiting www.atsb.gov.au/publications/2008/rail_bulletin.aspx.

Rail safety resources, developed by the Road Safety Council, are also available to help educate the community, schools and industry about safety issues at level crossings.
